About Vantelin Dome Nagoya
Opened in 1997 as Nagoya Dome and renamed Vantelin Dome in 2021 (Vantelin is a pain-relief patch brand). Home to the Chunichi Dragons, the stadium is known as one of the loudest in NPB — its enclosed acoustics amplify the trumpet-and-drum cheering sections that define Japanese baseball atmosphere.
Fun facts
- Smaller capacity than Tokyo Dome but considered louder by visiting players.
- Roof clearance is intentionally lower to keep the cheering sound from dispersing.
