About Target Field
Target Field, nestled in the heart of Minneapolis, Minnesota, opened its gates in 2010 as the proud home of the Minnesota Twins. Replacing the Metrodome, this open-air ballpark combines modern amenities with a classic ballpark feel, offering fans a sublime baseball-watching experience. One of its defining features is its limestone exterior, which pays homage to the natural abundance of limestone in Minnesota. Spectators can also enjoy stunning views of the downtown skyline, especially during twilight games. Sustainability was a core principle in its construction, leading to Target Field being recognized as the greenest ballpark in America at the time of its opening. With its fan-friendly layout, emphasis on local foods, and state-of-the-art features, Target Field stands as one of the premier destinations for baseball aficionados.
